Welter weight: to review if Juarez is to campaign at 140 lbs …

Omar Juarez (Texas) scored a spectacular Split Decision 10 against Ryan Karl (US) to win the vacant WBC Internatioinal Welterweight title last February 5th in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Omar Juarez, from Brownsville-Texas, scaled 142 lbs.     

He improved to 13-1-0 (5) as a professional after this outstanding performance in Las Vegas.

He is nicknamed “El Relampago” (the “lightning” in English).  He is aged 22.     He scored a split decision against Ryan Karl (the latter scaled 145.5 lbs at the official weigh-in).        The vacant WBC International Welterweight title was at stake in Las Vegas at the Michelob Ultra Arena.
