Tasidis won by TKO (cut) at 0:25 of the 9th round

Tasidis cut the Chinese fighter (Su Cheng) in the 6th with a solid punch over the right eye and the cut got progressively worse.   Despite the efforts of Cheng’s corner , the bleeding could not be stopped  and , after consultation with all involved,  Bruce McTavish stopped the fight.    It was a very good fight up until then, with scores of 78-74 and 74-78.   The third judge had scored 77-75 in favor of Tasidis.
