October 28th Pala Atlantico Rome by OPI Since 82 in association with Top Rank Inc.
Mirco Natalizi retained his WBC International 154lbs Silver title with an outstanding performance against Tony Dixon (UK) last Friday October 28th in Rome at the Pala Atlantico. In a good start for both, Mirko dropped Tony at the end of round two for the count. The challenger survived and beat the count. In the same session, Mirko had suffered a cut on his left eye for an accidental headbutt. The end came when the bell started the beginning of round six and Dixon retired on his stool. Very good win for the champion against a credible challenger.
