SUPERWELTER WEIGHT SILVER champion Adriàn “Junior” Sasso (Argentina)

Adriàn “Junior” Sasso (Argentina) won the vacant WBC International Silver title (Superwelterweight)  when he stopped in the third round Venezuela’s José “Dinamita” Espinoza (12-2, 9).  The latter had represented his country at the Games in London in 2012.   The first round was for Sasso who managed to drop Espinoza for the count, with the  visitor who was able to beat the count.   The local fighter probably became too confident and went to the kill in the second session , to suffer the hard reaction of his heavy hands contender.   He understood it was a mistake and in round three he came back to properly use his jab and won the fight by TKO with a series of combinations which saw Espinoza defenceless on the ropes.   Further to win the WBC International 154lbs Silver crown, Sasso regained his old Southamerican belt with the win.
