FLYWEIGHT SILVER

WBC International Flyweight Silver champion Sebastiàn Gomez Sànchez was supposed to defend his belt against David Martinez (México) next  March 28th in  Cd. De Teopisca – Estado de Chiapas (México).

Ing. Saúl Andrade Rivero informed that , due to a indisposition suddenly suffered by the reigning champion, the championship will have to be postponed to a later date. The new date most likely in May.

 

 

The champion had made a successful voluntary defence last December 13th in Chetumal (México) against Hiram Gallardo Atexcatenco.

Sebastián “Charrito” Sánchez (Francisco Sebastián Gomez Sánchez) retained his WBC International Flyweight Silver title when he stopped at the end of round ten (2’56”) his tough challenger Hiram “El Mexicanito” Gallardo (Hiram Gallardo Atexcatenco) last December 13th at the mega event in Chetumal (México) “Palacio de los Deportes” promoted by Mr. Oscar Bermudez Montufar .   In round ten the champion connected with a combination of three blows to have his challenger on the canvas.   Although Hiram bravely tried to beat the count, referee  Rafael Arroyo decided that enough was enough.
